Mahindra has released a teaser for the Thar Roxx, showcasing its luxurious and high-tech features. The SUV is set to launch on 15th August 2024, promising several premium additions that aim to enhance the driving experience significantly.

High-Tech Digital Driver Display

The teaser highlights a fully digital driver display as one of the standout features. This advanced cluster provides essential information at the driver's fingertips, ensuring easy access to all necessary data. The Thar Roxx will also feature a large touchscreen infotainment system. A 2.2-liter diesel engine generates 130 PS and 300 Nm, while a 2.0-liter petrol unit produces 150 PS and 300 Nm. Both engines come with transmission choices of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

The exterior updates include changes to the front grille and bumper compared to the 3-door model while retaining circular headlamps, fog lamps, latched hood, rugged bumper, and skid plate. The most noticeable difference is its larger size; Thar Roxx extends by 300 mm over the 3-door model's length of 3,985 mm.

Customers can choose between RWD and 4X4 variants similar to those offered in the 3-door model. The engines might be tuned for higher performance to accommodate the added weight of this new version.
