Mahindra's Thar Roxx Interior Spied: Modern Features In A Rugged Design
Mahindra is set to enhance Independence Day celebrations with the launch of its new Thar Roxx. This five-door variant of the Thar will debut in India on 15 August. Before its official unveiling, the automaker has been teasing the SUV's exterior, while spy photos have revealed several interior details.
Interior Features and Design
The cabin of the Thar Roxx features new white upholstery, similar to that found in the XUV700. This upholstery is expected to include a ventilation function for the front seats. However, maintaining light-coloured seats could be challenging given the SUV's nature.

In addition to the upholstery, the Thar Roxx will come equipped with modern amenities. These include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, bezel-less IRVM, automatic climate control, a new steering wheel, six airbags, and a single-pane sunroof. The inclusion of a single-pane sunroof indicates that this variant may not be the top-spec model, as recent teasers have shown a panoramic sunroof.
Additional Comfort and Safety Features
The upcoming Thar Roxx will also feature adjustable headrests for all passengers, a split centre armrest, a rear armrest, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, and roof-mounted rear speakers. The instrument panel remains unchanged from the current Thar model, suggesting that this spied version might be a lower-spec variant.

Mechanically, it is anticipated that the Thar Roxx will utilise the existing powertrain options. It remains uncertain whether this new iteration will be available in an RWD configuration. Upon its release, the Thar Roxx will compete with other five-door SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Force Gurkha.
"The first noticeable element of the Thar Roxx's cabin is the new white upholstery," as seen in spy pictures. This detail highlights Mahindra's effort to blend luxury with ruggedness in their latest offering.

The launch of Mahindra's Thar Roxx on 15 August promises to bring excitement to SUV enthusiasts in India. With its blend of modern features and competitive positioning against rivals like Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Force Gurkha, it aims to make a significant impact in the market.
