In preparation for the launch, Mahindra has been proactive in securing trademarks to safeguard its newest creation. Among a series of trademarks filed, including Scorpio K, L, M, and Z, it is the 'Scorpio X' that has successfully passed the scrutiny.

The Scorpio X is a testament to Mahindra's innovation, born out of the Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS). It is designed on a completely new next-gen ladder frame platform that promises enhanced ruggedness and adaptability.
This platform is not only a departure from the traditional but is also engineered to accommodate a variety of powertrains, including electric options, highlighting Mahindra's forward-looking approach to vehicle design and development.
The exterior sports a newly designed front fascia, a roof-mounted LED light bar, and increased ground clearance, Scorpio X is built to impress. The interior doesn't lag, equipped with Level-2 ADAS, a large touchscreen, a digital instrument console, and advanced safety features, ensuring a blend of comfort, convenience, and security.
Under the bonnet, Scorpio X is expected to inherit 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines from the Scorpio N with power outputs ranging up to 200bhp and torque peaking at 400 Nm.
