Mahindra Scorpio N Gets Ventilated Seats, Wireless Charger & Other Features: No Price Hike
Mahindra Auto, a leading car manufacturer in India, is known for producing large and robust SUVs. The company has experienced significant success with models such as the Scorpio N and XUV700. In particular, the Scorpio has become Mahindra's best-selling vehicle. To further enhance its appeal, Mahindra is now adding more features to the Scorpio N.
New Features for Mahindra Scorpio N
The Mahindra Scorpio N, dubbed the 'Big Daddy Of SUVs', has moved up a segment and now competes with D-Segment SUVs. With its size and affordability factors working in its favour, the Scorpio N has achieved impressive sales numbers. To maintain this momentum, Mahindra is introducing additional features to the Scorpio N.

Updates to Mahindra Scorpio N
Previously, the Scorpio N lacked some features that rival brands offered in their affordable small hatchbacks, such as auto-dimming IRVM. Now, Mahindra is equipping the Scorpio N with an auto-dimming IRVM and a wireless charger with a cooling function. Recent spy shots reveal that the top-spec Z8L trim of the Scorpio N shares the same frameless auto-dimming IRVM with the Mahindra XUV3XO.
Another significant addition to the Scorpio N is ventilated seats for front passengers, which are particularly beneficial for Indian car buyers due to hot weather conditions. While rear ventilated seats would be a welcome addition to the XUV700, they are not currently available.

Despite these new features, there are still some areas where improvements could be made. For example, a 360-degree camera for parking assistance would be useful considering the size of the vehicle. Additionally, a camera-based Level-2 ADAS suite similar to what is offered on the smaller XUV3XO would be beneficial.
No Price Increase for Updated Mahindra Scorpio N
There do not appear to be any other added features beyond those mentioned above. The sunroof remains single-pane and second-row seats are not captain chairs with individual armrests. However, there seems to be no price increase associated with these updates; pricing ranges between Rs 13.85 lakh and Rs 24.54 lakh (Ex-sh).

The powertrains will remain unchanged: a 2.0L turbo petrol engine producing 200 bhp peak power and 370 Nm peak torque or a 2.2L turbo diesel engine generating 172 bhp peak power and 400 Nm peak torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter along with a 4X4 transfer case option.
These new features make the Mahindra Scorpio N an even more attractive proposition for Indian buyers seeking an SUV with sought-after amenities like ventilated seats.
