Mahindra Sales Breakup For November 2024: Scorpio, XUV 700, & Thar Roxx Shine

Mahindra has maintained its position as the fourth largest car manufacturer in India, capturing a 13.1% market share in November 2024. The company sold 46,222 units during this period, marking a 16% increase compared to the same month in 2023 when they sold 39,981 units. However, there was a 15% decline from October 2024's record-breaking sales of 54,504 units.

Scorpio/Scorpio N (12,704 units)

The Scorpio/Scorpio N model led Mahindra's sales figures last month, being the only vehicle to exceed 10,000 units. It ranked sixth among India's best-selling cars and was one of five Mahindra models on this list. With 12,704 units sold in November 2024, it saw a modest 4% year-on-year growth from November 2023's sales of 12,185 units but experienced a significant 19% drop from October's sales of 15,677 units.

XUV700 (9,100 units)

Another strong performer for Mahindra is the XUV700. Sales rose by an impressive 26% year-on-year to reach 9,100 units in November 2024 from the previous year's figure of 7,221 units. However, there was a slight dip of 13% compared to October's sales of 10,435 units.

Thar Roxx (8,708 units)

The Thar Roxx has shown impressive demand with a remarkable year-on-year sales increase of 50%, reaching 8,708 units in November 2024 compared to just 5,810 units in November the previous year. It also achieved a month-on-month growth of 10%, up from October's figure of 7,944 units. This makes it the only model in Mahindra's lineup to see both annual and monthly sales growth.

XUV3XO/XUV300 (7,656 units)

The XUV300/3XO also contributed significantly to Mahindra's success with a substantial year-on-year increase of 64%, selling 7,656 units last month compared to just 4,673 in November last year. Despite this annual growth, there was a notable month-on-month decline of 20% from October's sales of 9,562 units.

Mahindra Bolero (7,045 units)

Mahindra's Bolero range faced challenges with declining popularity among buyers. Sales fell by both year-on-year and month-on-month metrics; only selling 7,045 units in November compared to last year's figure of 9,333 and October's total of 9,849.

XUV400 (1,000 units)

The XUV400 electric SUV showed promising results with a year-on-year growth rate of 41%, achieving sales of exactly 1,000 units in both November and October this year.

Marazzo (9 units)

The Marazzo saw an alarming drop with only 9 vehicles sold last month—an enormous decline from last year's count of 49 and down from 37 sold in October.

Other Details

Looking ahead into January next year (2025), Mahindra plans to implement a price hike across its SUV and commercial vehicle ranges by approximately 3 percent due to inflationary pressures and rising input costs.
