Mahindra Unveils E-Alfa Plus Electric Three-Wheeler For Enhanced Urban And Rural Transport
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M Ltd.), has introduced the new e-Alfa Plus. This electric three-wheeler is tailored for both urban and rural transport needs.
The e-Alfa Plus is equipped with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that delivers peak power of 1.95 kW at 2600 r/min and maximum torque of 26.9 Nm at 200 r/min. This design ensures it can handle the demands of daily use effectively.
Key Features and Specifications
One standout feature of the e-Alfa Plus is its real-world range of over 100 kilometres on a single charge, thanks to extensive driving validations. This range allows drivers to maximise their earnings by reducing downtime for recharging.
The vehicle is powered by a 150 Ah Lead Acid battery, which supports its impressive range and performance. Additionally, Mahindra offers an 18-month warranty covering the vehicle, charger, and battery, ensuring long-term reliability for customers.
To enhance safety and security, Mahindra includes a three-year accidental insurance worth ₹10 Lakh for the driver with every purchase. This initiative underscores the company's commitment to customer welfare.
Pricing and Availability
The Mahindra e-Alfa Plus e-rickshaw is priced at ₹1 61 113.00 ex-showroom Noida. Availability depends on local government approvals for e-rickshaws/karts in each state.
MLMML offers this three-wheeler EV in five colours, including a new Oceanic Blue hue. The unique closed body design incorporates several safety features such as an advanced braking system.
