Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e Deliveries To Commence Between February & March 2025

The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e are generating significant interest in India. These electric SUVs are part of Mahindra's latest lineup, with the XEV 9e being the flagship model. Test drives for select customers have already started, and the vehicles will be available at dealerships by January 2025. Deliveries are expected to commence between February and March 2025.

Pricing Details

Currently, introductory prices for the base variants of both models have been announced. The BE 6 is priced at Rs 18.90 lakh, while the XEV 9e starts at Rs 21.90 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom. It's anticipated that Mahindra will reveal more variant prices during the Bharat Mobility Globility Expo 2025. (All prices in ex-showroom.)

Battery Options & Charging Capabilities

Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e come with two battery pack options: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh unit. These batteries support DC fast charging up to 175 kW, allowing them to charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes. This feature ensures quick recharging for users on the go.

Range Specifications

Mahindra claims impressive ranges for these SUVs. The BE 6 can travel up to 535 km with its smaller battery and up to 682 km with the larger one. Meanwhile, the XEV 9e offers a range of up to 542 km with the smaller battery and up to 656 km with the larger pack.

Performance

Both models share similar motor specifications. The smaller battery delivers a maximum power of 230 bhp, while the larger one provides up to 285 bhp. Torque remains constant at 380 Nm across both configurations. Currently, these SUVs are available only as rear-wheel drive.

Driving Modes

Mahindra has equipped these electric SUVs with multiple driving modes: Range, Everyday, and Race. Additionally, there's a Boost mode for extra power when needed and a One-pedal drive mode for ease of use in urban settings.
