Lotus Debuts Award-Winning Eletre SUV And Emeya Sedan In The GCC
Lotus Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: LOT), a global leader in intelligent luxury mobility, has announced the local homologation certification for its Eletre (SUV) and Emeya (GT, Sedan) models in the GCC region. This certification allows the company to begin deliveries of the Eletre model, which started in the second quarter.
The Eletre model, a 5.1m E-class SUV, boasts up to 905 horsepower and can reach speeds of up to 265km/hour depending on regional options. It has received several accolades, including "SUV of the Year" by GQ and "Lifestyle Car of the Year" by Quattroruote awards in 2023 and 2024. The Emeya model is a 5.1m E-class GT Sedan with similar horsepower and a top speed of 256km/hour, winning the Red Dot product design award in 2024.
Deliveries of the Eletre model are already underway, while reservations for the Emeya model have commenced. New Lotus showrooms and stores will open in prime locations across major cities, allowing customers to test-drive and experience Lotus vehicles' exceptional control and driving dynamics. Bespoke services will be available for personalization and customization, catering to reservations for limited-edition models.
Both models come optionally equipped with state-of-the-art hardware supporting end-to-end intelligent driving services that can be updated through OTA. These intelligent driving services are provided by Lotus Robotics, a subsidiary of Lotus Tech. Lotus Robotics offers comprehensive intelligent driving solutions to multiple global leading OEMs, including advanced platform software, cloud toolchains, integrated hardware and software development, and intelligent driving operation solutions.
Qingfeng Feng, CEO at Lotus Tech, stated, "The GCC region has always been a key market for Lotus, given the brand’s long-standing racing heritage." He added that this milestone is significant for their global expansion plan and aligns with their goal to bring award-winning models with best-in-class driving experiences and advanced technologies to passionate drivers.

The new showrooms will provide customers with opportunities to experience these high-performance vehicles firsthand.
