Lola Cars To Compete In Formula E's GEN4 Era, Eyeing Sustainable Tech Advancements

Lola Cars has confirmed its participation in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship until at least 2030. The British manufacturer will compete in the GEN4 era, which starts in the 2026/2027 season. This new phase promises significant advancements in energy efficiency, race performance, and safety.

The GEN4 cars will feature 600kW of power and 700kW regenerative braking, a notable increase from the GEN3 figures of 350kW and 600kW respectively. These enhancements provide a platform for further technological development in sustainable e-mobility.
