Lamborghini Urus SE: India Launch On 9th August
The Lamborghini Urus SE, the most powerful variant of the SUV, generates 800hp and 950Nm. It will be launched in India on August 9 in New Delhi, just four months after its international debut in April. This model is the second in Lamborghini's lineup to feature hybrid power, alongside updates to its interior and exterior design.
Lamborghini Urus SE Design and Features
The Urus SE showcases a redesigned bonnet that extends further forward than previous models. It also features a new LED signature and slimmer LED headlamps equipped with Matrix technology. The front and rear bumpers, as well as the tailgate section, have been updated. Internationally, this model comes with 21, 22, or 23-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres.

Inside, the dashboard has been refreshed with new panels and AC vents. The highlight is a new 12.3-inch central touchscreen, replacing the older 10.1-inch unit found in previous models. This larger screen is shared with the Revuelto and runs the latest Lamborghini software.
Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain and Performance
The Urus SE is powered by a hybrid system that includes a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with a plug-in hybrid setup featuring a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Combined with an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic gearbox, the total system output reaches 800hp and 950Nm.

Lamborghini states that the Urus SE can travel up to 60km on electric power alone. The SUV boasts an all-wheel-drive system, accelerates from 0-100kph in just 3.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 312kph.
Lamborghini Urus SE Price and Rivals
When it was first introduced in India in 2018, the Urus was priced at Rs 3 crore. Later models like the Urus Performante and S were priced at Rs 4.22 crore and Rs 4.18 crore respectively.
Given its hybrid powertrain, expect the SE to be significantly more expensive. The Urus SE will compete against other luxury performance SUVs such as the BMW XM, Audi RSQ8, Lotus Eletre, Porsche Cayenne GTS, and Aston DBX 707.

This launch marks another significant step for Lamborghini in India’s luxury car market, offering advanced technology and enhanced performance features to attract discerning buyers.
