Lamborghini Urus SE Hybrid Launched In India At Rs 4.57 Crore: A Luxury Plug-In Hybrid SUV
Lamborghini has launched the Urus SE in India, marking its second plug-in hybrid after the Revuelto. Priced at Rs. 4.57 crore (ex-showroom), this new variant replaces the Performante and S models. The Urus SE features a revamped powertrain, exterior, interior, and upgraded tech.
Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain
The Urus SE is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 plug-in hybrid engine. The internal combustion engine alone generates 620hp and 800Nm of torque. It is paired with a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack, integrated within an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The combined output reaches 800hp and 950Nm.

In terms of drive modes, the Urus SE includes Strada, Sport, Corsa for road use, and Neve, Sabbia, Terra for off-road conditions. Additionally, it introduces EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge, and Performance modes. The Recharge mode allows up to 80% battery recharge while maintaining performance.
Lamborghini Urus SE Performance
The Urus SE offers an electric-only range of 60km and can operate in EV mode at speeds up to 130kph before the combustion engine activates. Lamborghini claims it can accelerate from 0-100kph in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312kph.

Lamborghini Urus SE Exterior and Interior Features
The exterior design of the Urus SE includes a new bonnet extending to the nose edge without a cut-off line for continuity. Slimmer headlamps with LED matrix technology replace the Y-motif signature lights. The front bumper and grille assembly are more aggressive.
At the rear, changes include a new tailgate with contrasting trim connecting Y-shaped LED tail-lights, a new spoiler, and a relocated registration plate on a larger diffuser. Wheel options range from 21 to 23 inches wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres. Also, customisation options are extensive with over 100 exterior colours and 47 interior finishes available through Lamborghini's Ad Personam program.

Inside, updates feature new dashboard panels with a more pronounced 3D look, revised AC vents, and redesigned seats. A significant upgrade is the new 12.3-inch central touchscreen (up from 10.1-inch) running the latest software seen on the Revuelto.
Lamborghini Urus SE Suspension and Handling
The Urus SE comes equipped with air suspension, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, revised electronics, and 48V anti-roll bars to manage pitch, yaw, and lean effectively.
This launch follows Lamborghini's announcement of unveiling the Huracan successor on August 16 which will feature a twin-turbo V8 engine capable of reaching a redline of 10,000rpm.
