Lamborghini Squadra Corse Reaffirms Commitment To IMSA GTP Endurance Cup For 2025 Season
Lamborghini Squadra Corse has committed to the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. They will enter a single factory-supported SC63 in the GT Prototype (GTP) class of the Michelin Endurance Cup. The technical and sporting departments of Lamborghini Squadra Corse will support this entry, with further details about the SC63 programme to be announced later.
Mirko Bortolotti, Romain Grosjean, Daniil Kvyat, and Edoardo Mortara are set to drive the Lamborghini SC63 throughout the 2025 IMSA season. The specific driver combinations for each race will be determined individually. This approach allows flexibility and strategic planning for each event.

In the GTD classes, Lamborghini plans to field three Huracán GT3 EVO2s. Andrea Caldarelli, Jordan Pepper, and Marco Mapelli will lead the GTD Pro effort for Pfaff Motorsports. They will be joined by former IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe for the Daytona 24 Hours race.
Wayne Taylor Racing will compete in GTD with Danny Formal and Trent Hindman, a former Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals winner. Graham Doyle is set to join them for the Endurance Cup rounds, while Kyle Marcelli will participate in Daytona as part of his full-season commitment in 2024.
Forte Racing is also returning to GTD competition with drivers Misha Goikhberg, Parker Kligerman, and Mario Farnbacher. The team has yet to confirm their fourth driver for the upcoming season. This line-up aims to strengthen their presence in the championship.
The announcement of Lamborghini's participation highlights their ongoing commitment to motorsport excellence. Their involvement in both GTP and GTD classes showcases a strategic approach to competing at various levels within the championship.
