Kia Unveils 'Shadow' Special Editions For Picanto, Stonic, And Sportage Models

Kia UK has introduced special edition 'Shadow' models for the Picanto, Stonic, and Sportage. These models, available for retail sales from 3 June, feature exclusive styling and additional equipment based on the '3' grade models. Orders for these new editions are open from today.

The Picanto 'Shadow' celebrates its 20th anniversary in the UK with a mid-life refresh. Priced at £18,045 for the manual version and £18,745 for the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), it includes a 1.2-litre, 77bhp engine. The interior features an Adventurous Green colour scheme, and buyers can choose from premium paints such as Adventurous Green, Astro Grey, or Midnight Black.

The Picanto has surpassed 250,000 lifetime sales in the UK as of August last year. Holding over 22 per cent of the A-segment market share in 2024, it remains a popular choice for those seeking small, versatile vehicles.

The Stonic 'Shadow' builds on the success of its last special edition released in 2022. It features new 17-inch grey alloys and a choice of premium exterior paints including Midnight Black, Astro Grey, and Smokey Blue. The interior boasts a Blue pack with contrast blue stitching on seats and steering wheel, along with blue elements on the centre console. The manual version is priced at £22,995, while the DCT version costs £23,995.

Sportage 'Shadow'

The Sportage 'Shadow', exclusive to hybrid models, adds unique styling features to the existing '3' hybrid model. Priced at £36,485, it includes a Midnight Green interior pack, gloss black window and spoiler trim, and dark chrome finishes on various exterior elements. Paint options include Experience Green, Phantom Black, and Wolf Grey.

The Sportage continues to be a top seller in the UK and globally. It offers a range of low-emitting petrol, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

All 'Shadow' models come with Kia's seven-year/100,000-mile warranty as standard. First customer deliveries are expected later in 2024.
