2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Launched At Rs 7.99 Lakh - 19 Variants
2024 Kia Sonet facelift launched in India. The new 2024 Kia Sonet lineup starts at Rs 7.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 15.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Kia Sonet lineup is offered with a choice of two petrol and 1 diesel engine. The new 2024 Kia Sonet is offered with two manual gearbox options - 5-speed (petrol) and 6-speed (diesel), a clutchless 6-speed iMT manual, and two automatic transmissions - 6-speed torque converter and 7-speed DCT.
The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift lineup starts with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol which is offered only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine pushes out 82bhp and 115Nm of peak torque.
The 1.2-litre petrol version of the Sonet is offered in three variant levels. The base HTE variant is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh, the mid-spec HTK trim level costs Rs 8.79 lakh while the HTK+ variant pushes the price up to Rs 9.89 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
Next come the versions powered by the 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine which pushes out 118bhp and 172Nm. This engine is paired with either the 6-speed iMT gearbox or the 7-speed DCT.
There are three imT variants of the turbo petrol - the base HTK+ priced at 10.49 lakh, the mid-spec HTX at 11.49 lakh and the top-spec HTX+ at Rs 13.39 lakh.
There are also three variants of the 2024 Sonet with a turbo petrol engine and the 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. The base version of this combination is the HTX, priced at Rs 12.29 lakh. The GTX+variant comes in at 14.49 lakh and the fully packed X-Line commands a Rs 14.69 lakh price tag.
The third and final engine option is the 1.5-litre turbo diesel which churns out 114bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine is offered with three transmission options - 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and 6-speed torque converter automatic.
The manual gearbox version of the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift is offered in five variant levels - HTE (Rs 9.79 lakh), HTK (Rs 10.39 lakh), HTK+(Rs 11.39 lakh), HTX (Rs 11.99 lakh) and HTX+ (Rs 13.69 lakh).
The 6-speed iMT version of the 2024 Kia Sonet diesel is offered in two trim levels - HTX, which is priced at Rs 12.59 lakh and HTX+ which commands a price tag of Rs 14.39 lakh.
Finally, the 6-AT version of the new 2024 Sonet diesel is offered in three variant levels as well. The automatic Sonet diesel starts with the HTX trim level priced at Rs 12.99 lakh. Next comes the GTX+ at Rs 15.49 lakh while the top-spec X-line commands a price tag of Rs 15.69 lakh.
The new Sonet features revised front and rear-end designs and rides on some snazzy new alloys. The interiors are now offered with twin 10.25-inch displays for the instrumentation and touchscreen infotainment.
The new 2024 Sonet also comes with 70+ Connected Car experiences and a host of safety features to keep those inside as safe as possible. These include 6 Airbags (across all variants), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), to name a few.
The new Sonet also gets Level 1 ADAS to increase its safety levels which includes features like Front Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA), and Lane Following Assist (LFA), among others.
The new 2024 Kia Sonet is offered in the new Pewter Olive Body colour along with 8 Monotone, 2 Dual Tone and 1 Matte Finish colour. Bookings are now open for an initial amount of Rs 25,000.
