Kia EV9 Wins Best Premium Large SUV At Business Car Awards 2024 Ceremony
The Kia EV9 has been recognised as the 'Best Premium Large SUV' at the Business Car 2024 Awards. The event took place at the Hilton London Bankside Hotel. Competing against various large SUVs from well-known premium brands, the Kia EV9 stood out to the judges, surpassing both electric and internal combustion engine models.
Since its debut in 2023, the Kia EV9 has gained popularity among retail and business customers. Fleet and business sales make up over 60% of all UK EV9 sales in 2024. Customers are drawn to its 2% Benefit-in-Kind tax rate, a range of up to 349 miles per charge, and ultra-fast 800V charging capability.
The Business Car judges noted: "The idea of a £65,000+ Kia SUV would not have been possible before the EV6 that was launched in 2021 – such is the acceleration of the Korean brand. The EV9 looks distinctive, but it’s a practical seven-seater, that’s good to drive, and the efficiency is ace."
The Kia Niro family also received high commendation in the 'Compact SUV' category. This recognition adds to Kia's ongoing success at the Business Car Awards. Last year, Kia won 'Best Medium SUV' with its popular Sportage model.
These accolades highlight Kia's growing reputation for producing high-quality vehicles that appeal to both individual buyers and businesses. The awards reflect Kia's commitment to innovation and excellence in vehicle design and performance.
