Kia Unveils EV3 Pricing And Specs In The UK: Start Planning Your Purchase
Kia UK has unveiled the pricing and specifications for its most affordable electric SUV, the Kia EV3. Pre-orders will commence on 1 August, with deliveries expected by late 2024. The EV3 follows the footsteps of the EV6 and EV9, offering three grades: ‘Air’, ‘GT-Line’, and ‘GT-Line S’.
Each grade of the EV3 comes well-equipped as standard. The 'Air' model starts at £32,995 with a 58.3kWh battery pack, providing up to 267 miles of range. For £35,995, customers can opt for the long-range 81.4kWh battery pack, which offers up to 372 miles on a single charge.
The 'GT-Line' variant is priced from £39,495 and includes the long-range 81.4kWh battery pack, delivering up to 347 miles of range. It features more aggressive styling cues and additional equipment over the 'Air' model.
The top-tier 'GT-Line S', priced at £42,995, also uses the 81.4kWh battery pack with a similar range of up to 347 miles. This model boasts premium features like an eight-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system and a customisable head-up display (HUD).
All EV3 models come with a comprehensive list of standard features. These include a three-screen dashboard layout with a 12.3-inch driver display, a 5.3-inch climate control touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen navigation system. Wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are also standard.
Additional features include heated front seats and steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera system, automatic air conditioning, LED daytime running lights, and an electronic parking brake with autohold function.
Battery Options and Pricing
The EV3 offers two battery options: a standard-range 58.3kWh battery pack available only on the 'Air' grade and an 81.4kWh long-range battery pack available across all grades. The table below summarises the pricing:

Kia's commitment to sustainability is evident in the EV3's design. Each version includes a QR code on the dashboard that links to information about Kia’s sustainability mission and details on recycled materials used in the vehicle's cabin.
The EV3 is part of Kia’s ‘Plan S’ strategy to launch 15 electric vehicles by 2027, nine of which will be available in the UK. This initiative aims to position Kia as a leader in sustainable mobility solutions.
Fleet Customer Benefits
Fleet customers will benefit from favourable tax rates for electric vehicles: two per cent BIK (benefit-in-kind) rate for the tax year 2024/25 and three per cent for 2025/26.
