Kia EV3 Electric SUV: Exclusive First Look At Nationwide UK Dealer Events
Kia UK is set to introduce the Kia EV3, a compact electric SUV, through nationwide 'Kia EV3 Electric Experience' dealer events. These events will run from August to November 2024, providing attendees with the first opportunity to see and touch the new vehicle. The events will be held across Kia's 188-strong dealer network.
Each event will feature an unveil show, followed by an exclusive presentation about the EV3. Attendees will have the chance to explore the vehicle in detail and speak with experts about transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs). Interested individuals can book their spot online via the dedicated website: Kia EV3 Electric Experience.
The Kia EV3 was revealed on 23 May, showcasing its advanced features. The vehicle incorporates technology from Kia's flagship EV9, setting a new standard in the compact electric SUV segment. It boasts a bold exterior and a practical interior designed for maximum space, functionality, and comfort.
Key features include the Kia AI Assistant, Premium Streaming, advanced driving assistance systems, and Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. Built on Kia’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV3 utilises fourth-generation battery technology with an 81.4kWh battery pack. It offers a best-in-class 600km (372 miles) driving range and can charge from 10-80 per cent in just 31 minutes.
Kia's Leadership in Electrification
Kia has a history of hosting exclusive electric experience events nationwide, showcasing their latest electric models before their official launch dates. Over the past three years, the EV6, Niro EV, and EV9 were each introduced at similar events.
In early 2024, Kia ran 'Discover EV with Kia', providing expert advice to those considering the switch to electric vehicles. The strong reception of these events highlights the demand for Kia’s electric and eco-friendly models.
As part of its 'Plan S' business strategy announced in 2020, Kia aims to launch 15 fully electric models globally by 2027, with nine of these models available in the UK.
