Kia Carens Facelift To Feature ADAS & Other Features From New Seltos: Launch Soon
The Kia Carens MPV is a strong performer for the South Korean automaker in India. Also, its success could be attributed to its clever positioning in the Indian automobile market - sitting between the Toyota Innova Crysta, and the more affordable Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
However, despite its strong sales performance in the Indian market, we expect an update is necessary to uphold the sales momentum as the model has been around for quite some time now.

In line with this, Kia India seems to be also planning for an updated Carens as a few test mules with heavy camouflage have been already spotted on Indian roads. Also, these test mules look quite complete and we expect the updated models to be launched soon.
Looking into the details of the Kia Carens facelift, we expect Kia India to introduce updated to its front and rear section with a new front grille, updated headlamps, reprofiled front and rear bumpers, and a set of new taillamps with updated graphics.
Also, we expect the upcoming design changes on the Carens MPV to lend the model with a more muscular appeal. We also expect top-spec models to come with bigger alloy wheels as well.

On the inside, we expect the Kia Carens facelift to feature an all-new dashboard and a new more upmarket-looking digital instrument cluster. We also expect the Carens facelift to come with Level-2 ADAS tech, similar to the one in the new Seltos.
That being said, we do not expect to see any mechanical updates introduced to the upcoming Kia Carens MPV. As such, expect this model to feature the same naturally-aspirated petrol, turbo petrol, and turbo diesel engine options.
Apart from this, we expect the upcoming Kia Carens facelift model to be launched around the upcoming festive season. This will help the automaker further penetrate into the Indian market, thanks to the additional sales push during this season.
DriveSpark Thinks
The launch of the facelifted version of Carens MPV will help the automaker keep its sales momentum strong in India. Also, we expect the Kia Carens facelift to boost the overall sales of the automaker.
