KGM Motors UK To Showcase Latest Models At Royal Highland Show 2024
KGM Motors UK, formerly known as SsangYong, has announced its participation in the Royal Highland Show 2024. The event will take place at Ingliston, Edinburgh, Scotland, from Thursday, 20 June to Sunday, 23 June. KGM will display its rugged and versatile vehicles, including the all-new Torres and Torres EVX, which are ideal for rural living.
This year marks a significant milestone as the Royal Highland Show celebrates its 240th anniversary, while KGM UK commemorates its 70th year. Kevin Griffin, Managing Director of KGM Motors UK, expressed enthusiasm about the event: "We are thrilled to be part of the Royal Highland Show 2024, especially during this milestone year for both the show and our brand."

KGM Global (formerly KGM Motor Company) is a Korean car manufacturer specialising in 4x4s, SUVs, MPVs, and pick-up trucks. Established in 1954, the company initially produced trucks, buses, and special-purpose vehicles for the export market. The headquarters for KG Mobility is in Seoul's Gangnam district.
The principal vehicle manufacturing plant is located in Pyungtaek and has the capacity to produce 240,000 cars a year. The company has invested in a new factory in the same area specifically designed for pure-electric vehicle production.

Bassadone Automotive Group acquired KGM UK distribution rights in 2011. Operating as KGM UK Limited in the UK, it serves as the official importer and distributor of KGM vehicles, parts, and accessories. KGM UK Limited has undergone significant transformation with a new management team and growth strategy.
The strategy focuses on expanding an evenly spread dealer network to 80-strong by 2024. The proposition offers UK customers a full range of SUVs and pick-ups with generous specifications at value-for-money prices.
