Founder Miklós "Miki" Kázmér's passion for Porsche’s 912 led to the creation of the 912c. Inspired by a visit to California’s Petersen Museum, Kázmér aimed to capture the essence of the original design. "I’ve always had a passion for the 912 and the 911," he says. "But seeing the original 911R at the museum sparked my journey towards the 912c."

The KAMM 912c offers more than just an updated classic look. It features modern essentials discreetly integrated for comfort without compromising on authenticity or craftsmanship. Partnerships with renowned brands like Fusina and TracTive ensure that every detail exceeds expectations while staying true to its roots.

Underneath its sleek exterior, KAMM has transformed the original engine into a powerful 2.0-litre unit delivering 185hp and 205Nm of torque. The short-shift transmission connects to a Porsche hydraulic racing clutch before power reaches a ZF limited-slip differential. AP Racing provides braking power, while TracTive coil-over suspension balances comfort with track-ready handling.

The interior showcases meticulous attention to detail with electronic Smiths instruments and an authentic Fusina steering wheel. Modern touches like air conditioning and wireless phone charging are subtly included, but there are no touchscreens as KAMM prioritises purity.

Weight Reduction Focus

Weight reduction was crucial for Kázmér's team when designing this sports car. Carbon fibre is extensively used throughout construction alongside lightweight Lexan polycarbonate windows. Every component has been redesigned to save weight while maintaining strength through reinforced Cro-Moly tubing or optional FIA-approved roll cages.

KAMManufaktur offers two coupe models: Semi-Carbon retaining some steel bodywork or Full-Carbon featuring full carbon fibre bodywork; both tailored uniquely over twelve months per owner's preferences.

US Expansion

ZWECK serves as North American sales representative specialising in Porsche cars from their Miami facility where they provide performance services too! Alvaro Rodriguez states: "While remaining true to our philosophy," adding how "KAMM faithfully augments original concepts without compromise using modern technology."

"The KAMM 912c is so much more than a restomod," says Kázmér about their extensive re-engineering efforts ensuring each element remains bespoke yet retains classic looks reminiscent of '60s racers' experiences!
