JSW MG Motor India Joins Forces With Shell To Enhance EV Charging Network
JSW MG Motor India has teamed up with Shell India to boost the public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs) across the country. This collaboration will allow JSW MG Motor India customers to benefit from Shell's extensive fuel station network.
Deployment of Fast Chargers
According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Shell India will install CCS 50kW and 60kW DC fast chargers at various locations nationwide. These chargers will enhance the EV charging network, making long-distance travel more feasible for EV users. MG customers can access these chargers through the MyMG App and Shell's network discovery tool, ensuring convenience and ease of use.

Shell EV Recharge locations offer reliable and ultra-fast charging with a 98%-99% charger uptime. These sites also provide convenient retail options, including fresh food and beverages, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Comprehensive Charging Ecosystem
JSW MG Motor India provides a comprehensive 6-way charging ecosystem for its customers. This includes a free-of-cost AC fast-charger installed at home or office, an extended charging network, an onboard plug-and-charge cable, charge-on-the-go roadside assistance, and community chargers.
The company has installed approximately 500 chargers in residential areas within 500 days and boasts a total network of over 15,000 charging touchpoints nationwide.
