JSW MG Motor India Rolls Out New EV Innovations At DriEV.Bharat Event
JSW MG Motor India has unveiled several groundbreaking electric vehicle (EV) innovations at the DriEV.Bharat event in New Delhi. This initiative, held in collaboration with key industry players, underscores the company's dedication to advancing EV technology and infrastructure.
The event showcased multiple pioneering projects aimed at enhancing the EV ownership experience and promoting sustainable practices.
The launch included eHUB by MG, a comprehensive charging platform designed to streamline the EV charging process across India. This platform allows users to locate, reserve, and pay for charging stations through a single interface.
Partnerships with major providers like Adani Total Energies Limited (ATEL), BPCL, Chargezone, and others ensure extensive network coverage. The app supports 11 languages and includes trip-planning features for a seamless experience.
Project REVIVE
Project REVIVE is another significant initiative introduced at the event. In collaboration with TERI, Lohum, and BatX, this project focuses on repurposing used EV batteries for renewable energy storage systems.
By extending the life of these batteries, Project REVIVE aims to reduce waste and provide reliable power solutions for community applications. A pilot project at a school in Mukteshwar demonstrates its practical benefits.
EVPEDIA
To further support EV adoption, JSW MG Motor India launched EVPEDIA, an educational platform dedicated to electric vehicles. This resource offers accurate information on EV technology, costs, maintenance, and benefits.
It also includes tools like cost calculators and policy repositories to help users make informed decisions. An AI-powered chatbot named 'eVir’ provides quick answers to user queries.
The company also announced that all future MG vehicles will come equipped with the MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (MG-Jio ICP).
This technology stack includes features such as an in-car app store for gaming and entertainment, voice commands in six Indian languages, and Home-to-Car functionality. These advancements aim to enhance the overall driving experience.

JSW MG Motor has been a pioneer in India's electric vehicle sector with notable launches like the MG ZS EV and the MG Comet EV. The company is committed to building a robust EV ecosystem by offering various charging solutions and planning to install 1,000 community chargers nationwide.
Through partnerships with startups and educational institutions via initiatives like MGDP and MG Nurture, they aim to drive EV education and skill development.

It partners with leading providers like Adani Total Energies Limited (ATEL), BPCL, Chargezone, Glida, HPCL, Jio-BP, Shell, Statiq, Zeon among others who will be onboarded soon. Available in 11 languages with trip-planning features ensures a hassle-free charging experience.
At DriEV.Bharat event also featured a panel discussion involving experts from EY and IIT discussing long-term benefits of electric vehicles. This dialogue emphasized how these innovations could shape India's future mobility landscape.
MG-Jio ICP redefines in-car connectivity through its unique collaboration between MG Motor India and Jio. It introduces features like an app store for entertainment and learning within vehicles along with voice commands available in six Indian languages plus Home-to-Car functionality offering unparalleled convenience.
