JK Tyre & Industries has launched four new tyre variants for commercial vehicles, including electric buses, focusing on sustainability, performance, and economic benefits. These products, tested for top quality, aim to redefine standards in the sector.
Indian tyre giant JK Tyre & Industries has launched a new range of tyres to cater to the evolving transportation sector. The company has introduced four new variants: JETWAY JUM XM, JETWAY JUC XM, JETSTEEL JDC XD, and the innovative JETWAY JUXe for electric buses. This expansion highlights JK Tyre's commitment to offering high-performance solutions that are economically beneficial and environmentally responsible.

The JETWAY JUM XM is particularly noteworthy for its energy efficiency. With a 4-Star Rating and an RRc value of 4.9 KN/n, it stands out as the most energy-efficient tyre in its category. Designed for buses and trucks, this tubeless tyre sets new standards for fuel economy and cost optimisation. Given that fuel expenses account for about 50% of total operating costs in India, this tyre offers significant fuel savings while also reducing carbon emissions.
Innovative Solutions for Diverse Needs
In response to India's growing infrastructure needs, JK Tyre has also introduced the X-Series product range: JETWAY JUC XM and JETSTEEL JDC XD tyres. These tyres are engineered to meet current demands with enhanced performance, durability, and efficiency. The JUC XM is designed for tippers and trailers, offering a 10% longer tyre life which translates to lower operational costs.
The JDC XD tyre is built to handle heavy-load transportation requirements effectively. Known for its durability and sturdiness, it is ideal for use in tippers on drive and dummy axles. This tyre ensures long-lasting performance even under demanding conditions.
