Jeep Meridian Facelift: Top 5 Highlights You Need To Know
The Jeep Meridian facelift has been introduced in India with a starting price of Rs 24.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The introduction of a 5-seater option has significantly reduced the entry price by Rs 6.24 lakh compared to the previous model, which started at Rs 31.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, bookings for the updated Meridian are now open, and deliveries are expected to commence by the end of this month. .
Jeep Meridian Facelift Variants and Pricing
The new Jeep Meridian is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, unlike its predecessor.The facelifted model is offered in four trims: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland. The base Longitude trim is exclusively a 5-seater, while the other trims are available only as 7-seaters.

Exterior Updates
The exterior of the Meridian facelift features subtle changes such as a redesigned grille with chrome studs on the honeycomb mesh and alloy wheels similar to those on the Overland Edition of the previous model. Inside, while the layout remains unchanged, there are updates like a suede finish dashboard with copper stitching and new beige seat upholstery.
Interior Changes
The dashboard's chrome strip has been replaced with one finished in copper, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. Key features like the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 9-speaker Alpine audio system remain unchanged from before.
The top-spec Overland trim now includes Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist among others. Additionally, it offers expanded connected car technology including Alexa Home integration.
Powertrain Details
The powertrain remains consistent with the previous model, featuring a 170hp, 350Nm, 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with either a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission. Both 4x2 and 4x4 variants are available.
Boot Space
The boot space varies between configurations; the new 5-seater variant offers up to 670 litres of space while the 7-seater variants provide up to 824 litres when the second row is folded down. With all rows in use, boot space for the seven-seaters is limited to 170 litres.
This update positions the Jeep Meridian more competitively against smaller SUVs like the Compass which ranges from Rs 18.99 lakh to Rs 32.41 lakh in pricing.
