Jeep India Unveils Attractive Savings on Meridian, Compass, and Grand Cherokee Models
Jeep has recently announced a series of attractive offers for its range of vehicles, aiming to provide a good amount of savings to its customers in the Indian market. The brand, known for its rugged and luxurious SUVs, has put forward benefits on models including the Meridian, Compass, and Grand Cherokee.
Exclusive Offers on Jeep Vehicles
The Jeep Meridian, accompanying these new offers, comes with benefits reaching up to ₹2.80 lakh. This includes up to three years of free maintenance, two years of extended warranty, and the Selected4You program that facilitates easy exchanges.
Jeep Compass buyers are not left behind, with offers up to ₹1.15 lakh alongside benefits for corporates that go up to ₹15,000. The Grand Cherokee, one of Jeep's premium offerings, is now accompanied by benefits up to ₹11.85 lakh and exclusive access to the Jeep Wave Ownership program.
Despite these generous offers, the Wrangler, starting at ₹62.65 lakh ex-showroom, does not come with any additional benefits at this time.
Jeep India's Price Range
Jeep's current lineup starts with the Compass, priced from ₹20.69 lakh, followed by the Meridian at ₹33.60 lakh. The prices for the Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee commence at ₹62.65 lakh and ₹80.50 lakh, respectively, all ex-showroom, India. Dealerships will provide more detailed information on the on-road prices, inclusive of these benefits.
Potential Updates and Engine Details
There is speculation around Jeep potentially upgrading the Meridian and Compass with Advanced Driver Aids System (ADAS), following a recent sighting of a Meridian test mule equipped with Bosch sensors. Despite the addition of ADAS, no other modifications were noted on the SUV.
Both the Meridian and Compass are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, delivering 168 bhp of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is coupled with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
