Isuzu To Unveil Special MUDMASTER Project At SMMT Test Day 2024
Isuzu is set to participate in the SMMT Test Day 2024 on 23 May at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire. This event, organised by The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), offers motoring journalists the chance to test drive the latest vehicles and engage with company representatives.
Isuzu will showcase four of its newest models at the event. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross STEEL Edition, a limited-edition model, features premium elements such as puddle lamps, electric folding mirrors, and black styling. Limited to 300 units in the UK, it is finished in Steel Grey.
The Isuzu D-Max AT35 BASECAMP is renowned for its off-road capabilities and vehicle camping innovations. Based on the Arctic Trucks AT35, it includes ARB and Lazer accessories, a rooftop tent, kitchen drawer set with a gas hob and sink, and a fridge. It is finished in Obsidian Grey.
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is designed for lifestyle drivers. This top-specification model in Biarritz Blue Metallic includes illuminated door sills, a wireless charger, a load bed with a mountain roll cover, an under-rail liner, sports bars, and custom side steps.
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross MUDMASTER will make its world debut at the event. This one-off special edition off-road vehicle features a snorkel, winch, Lazer lamps on the grille and roof, lifted suspension, custom sidebars, larger wheels with all-terrain tyres, heavy-duty seat covers, vinyl mats, and door handle protectors. It is finished in Dolomite White Pearl paint with MUDMASTER branding.
Journalists attending the event will have the opportunity to test drive the AT35 BASECAMP and STEEL models on various routes including city courses, hill routes, and road routes. Additionally, they can take the V-Cross and MUDMASTER models to further extremes using the off-road course at Millbrook Proving Ground with Pro Drivers.
