INFINITI Soars To Fourth In Premium Segment, J.D. Power 2024 Study Reveals
INFINITI has been acknowledged for its dedication to vehicle quality in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality StudySM (IQS). The brand climbed 15 positions, securing fourth place in the premium market. The 2024 INFINITI QX80 luxury SUV topped the Large Premium SUV segment with a score of 187 problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), surpassing the industry average of 232 PP100.
INFINITI's commitment extends beyond just the vehicle to the entire ownership experience. Programs like INFINITI Valet offer convenience by picking up a client's vehicle from their home or workplace for service and returning it afterward. Additionally, the INFINITI Premium Care integrated maintenance program includes three years of scheduled service, simplifying ownership.
The J.D. Power Initial Quality Study evaluates vehicle quality based on feedback from owners and lessees after the first 90 days of ownership. Participants report on 227 potential issues across ten categories: infotainment; features, controls and displays; exterior; driving assistance; interior; powertrain; seats; driving experience; climate; and unspecified (unique to repair). This year, data from franchised dealership repair visits were also included.
The QX80 serves as INFINITI's flagship model, offering luxurious comfort and capability. The all-new 2025 QX80 will be available at retailers in July, featuring a sophisticated design, first-class hospitality for all three rows of seating, intuitive technology, and an exceptional driving experience.
