Hyundai Triumphs With Six Wins In The 2024 Newsweek Autos Awards
Hyundai has achieved six accolades in the 2024 Newsweek Autos Awards. The 2024 Hyundai Elantra was recognised as the Best Vehicle for First-time New Car Buyers and a Top Pick for Urbanites. Additionally, the IONIQ 5 earned three titles: Top Pick for Tomorrow Seekers, Suburbanites, and New Parents. The IONIQ 6 also received recognition as a Top Pick for Tomorrow Seekers.
Olabisi Boyle, senior vice president of product planning and mobility strategy at Hyundai Motor North America, expressed pride in the achievements. "A lot of blood, sweat and tears go into our Hyundai products," Boyle said. "The product recognitions give credit to all the hard-working women and men of Hyundai who continue to listen to the customer and deliver beautifully designed, high quality and safe vehicles that diverse customers want and the reliability they deserve. Regardless of what phase of life you are in, Hyundai offers something for everyone."

This year, Newsweek evaluated vehicles across thirteen psychographic categories. These categories were selected to reflect new car buyer behaviour and driving impressions accurately.
