Hyundai's latest 2024 Santa Fe has been awarded the title of Best U.S.-Built SUV by American Cars and Racing. This recognition highlights the best new or significantly updated vehicles for the 2024 model year that are assembled in the United States. The announcement was made live on Fox News' morning show, 'Fox & Friends'.
The Santa Fe, produced at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing America in Montgomery, Alabama, stands out with its innovative design and features. It includes a spacious three-row interior, user-friendly infotainment system, and striking exterior styling. The vehicle was developed under the 'Open For More' concept, which focuses on enhancing everyday experiences.

The 2024 Santa Fe offers a longer wheelbase for a more spacious interior. It also features an expansive liftgate for easy loading and premium options like a Relaxation Comfort driver's seat with a deployable leg rest, UV-C sterilization compartment, dual wireless charging, standard three-row seating, and a panoramic-curved infotainment display.
Ricky Lao, director of product planning at Hyundai Motor North America, stated, "Hyundai’s all-new Santa Fe is all about exceeding customer expectations." He highlighted its impact in the competitive midsize market due to its spacious interior and advanced features.
Gary Gastelu, executive editor at American Cars and Racing, praised the Santa Fe's bold design and refinement. He noted that it brings daring design to a segment that usually plays it safe while offering features that exceed its price expectations.
