Hyundai's MyHyundai With Bluelink Achieves Top Ranking In J.D. Power 2024 U.S. OEM ICE App Report For Second Consecutive Year
Hyundai's MyHyundai with Bluelink app has once again topped the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. OEM ICE App ReportSM, marking its second consecutive year as the leading mobile application for internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. The app scored 895 points, significantly surpassing the report's average of 742 and improving by 92 points from the previous year.
The J.D. Power report evaluates ICE vehicle owners' experiences with their brand's mobile applications. It involves a comprehensive assessment process that includes over 270 best practices and more than 150 specific attributes related to mobile app functionality. This year's survey included insights from over 1,900 ICE vehicle owners in the U.S., conducted in October and November 2024.
Manish Mehrotra, Hyundai Motor North America's vice president of digital business planning and connected operations, emphasized their commitment to customer feedback: "Our team is always hungry to improve. To win, we listen very carefully to our customers. We are always looking to push boundaries and improve continuously to deliver the best mobile app experiences for our customers."
Key factors contributing to the app's success include a focus on enhancing the entire connected car ecosystem's quality, improving remote command speed and reliability, and incorporating user experience enhancements based on customer feedback.
Hyundai Motor America plays a significant role in the U.S. economy through its extensive operations, including its headquarters in California, an assembly plant in Alabama, and various R&D facilities. These efforts contribute $20.1 billion annually and support 190,000 jobs across the country.
