Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Achieves Triple Victory At The 2024 Drive Revolution Awards
Hyundai's IONIQ 5 N, a high-performance electric SUV, has made a significant impact at the 2024 Drive Revolution competition. Organised by the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA), this event evaluates vehicles across several categories, including Best Performance, Best Electrified Vehicle, and Best Battery Electric Vehicle. The IONIQ 5 N excelled in all three categories, showcasing its prowess against more expensive supercars and luxury sedans.
The IONIQ 5 N is Hyundai's first electrified model to feature the N badge. It has been well-received by automotive enthusiasts and media since its launch earlier this year. Olabisi Boyle, senior vice president of Product Planning and Mobility Strategy at Hyundai Motor North America, expressed pride in the IONIQ 5 N's achievements. "We set out to redefine what an electric vehicle can be," Boyle stated. "Sweeping the Drive Revolution Awards for Best Performance, Best Electrified, and Best Battery EV is an incredible honor."

The Drive Revolution event took place near Ridgefield, Washington over three days in September. Twenty automotive media professionals evaluated 23 new vehicles during this time. NWAPA is comprised of automotive journalists from the Pacific Northwest and Southwest Canada who assess vehicles based on advanced technologies and performance capabilities.
