Hyundai IONIQ 5 N EV Buyers Receive Complimentary ChargePoint Charger Or Charging Credit
Hyundai is offering a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV Charger or a $450 charging credit to customers who purchase or lease a new 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N. This initiative aims to ease the transition to electric vehicles for automotive enthusiasts. The charger will be provided through Hyundai Home Marketplace, which also assists with installation scheduling.
New IONIQ 5 N customers have 90 days from their purchase or lease date to redeem a coupon code for either the home charger or the $450 charging credit. Those who bought or leased before July 16, 2024, can still benefit and must redeem by October 14, 2024. To utilise this offer, customers need to create a profile on Hyundai Home Marketplace and choose between the two options.
Upon selecting the home charger, customers receive a unique coupon code and an overview of the installation steps. Installation must be hardwired through a Hyundai Home service provider. Costs for installation, taxes, and fees are not included. Hyundai Home Energy Advisors are available to assist with questions and guide customers through the process.
If opting for the out-of-home charging credit, customers will get a unique coupon code and instructions on redeeming it on ChargePoint’s site. The ChargePoint mobile app helps users find charging stations and start sessions across multiple networks. Customers must redeem their $450 credit within 90 days of purchase/lease and have two years from redemption to use it.
The ChargePoint network offers access to over 75,000 EV chargers nationwide. This extensive network includes EVgo, Shell Recharge, and ChargePoint stations. The flexibility provided by these options ensures that customers can charge their vehicles conveniently wherever they are.
Hyundai Home Marketplace
The Hyundai Home Marketplace is designed as a comprehensive solution for Hyundai EV owners' home electrification needs. Customers can arrange delivery and installation of their complimentary home EV charger here. Additionally, they can purchase solar panels and home energy storage systems through this platform.
This marketplace is operated in partnership with Electrum, leveraging its expertise in home energy solutions and certified installers nationwide. Electrum’s Energy Advisors assist Hyundai customers throughout the process, ensuring a smooth transition to electric mobility.
