Hyundai Unveils EXTER Hy-CNG Duo In India: Eco-Friendly Meets Sporty SUV
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced the EXTER Hy-CNG Duo, a sporty entry-level SUV with dual-cylinder CNG technology. Priced from INR 8,50,300/-, this vehicle offers the flexibility of running on both petrol and CNG, promising high fuel efficiency and ample boot space for travel enthusiasts.
The EXTER Hy-CNG Duo is powered by a 1.2-litre Bi-Fuel engine that runs on both petrol and CNG, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. This setup delivers an impressive fuel efficiency of 27.1 km/kg, as tested by ARAI. The vehicle also features a company-fitted CNG system with an Integrated Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to ensure smooth transitions between petrol and CNG modes.
Features and Safety
The Hyundai EXTER comes loaded with features like a Smart Electric Sunroof, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC), and a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system.
Safety is also a priority, with the SUV equipped with six airbags, TPMS highline, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), among other advanced safety features.
