Hyundai Invites You To Experience Its Latest Electric Vehicles At The EV Experience Event In Buena Park
Hyundai Motor America is hosting an event to showcase its latest electric vehicles. The Hyundai EV Experience & Multi-Point Inspection Event will be held at The Source OC in Buena Park from 11 to 24 November. Attendees can test drive models like the IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and Kona EV on 16 and 17 November. Free multi-point inspections will also be available during this period.
The event highlights Hyundai's commitment to electric vehicles, featuring the 2025 IONIQ 5 N and IONIQ 6. The IONIQ 5 N, which achieved a record at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in June, will be displayed with special decals. Product specialists will be present daily from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering information and small gifts for survey participants.

Sean Gilpin, Hyundai Motor America's chief marketing officer, stated, "As electric vehicles become more integral to our daily lives, Hyundai is dedicated to making the EV experience both accessible and enjoyable for all drivers." This initiative aims to provide resources like free inspections and flexible ownership options.
On-site registration allows attendees aged 21 or older with a valid U.S. driver's license to test drive selected models. Each participant receives a $20 gift card. During the same weekend, Hyundai partners with Shell for complimentary vehicle inspections, checking components like wiper blades and tires.
The inspections are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis at the MPI station in the parking area of The Source OC. Michel Poirier, vice president of aftersales and customer experience at Hyundai Motor America, emphasized the importance of vehicle maintenance for safety and reliability.
Supporting EV Transition
This event is part of Hyundai's broader strategy to support electric vehicle adoption. The company plans to establish over 30,000 charging stations by 2030 through a joint venture with seven automakers. Starting in late 2023, new Hyundai EVs will feature North American Charging Standard ports.
Hyundai also offers innovative services like the Hyundai Home Marketplace for purchasing home chargers and solar panels. Additionally, Evolve+, a subscription service, lets customers try out Hyundai's latest EV models without committing to purchase or lease agreements.
