Hyundai Creta Sets Record Sales In February 2024 – Check Out All Details Here
In a stellar performance that underscores its unwavering popularity, the Hyundai Creta has set a new sales record in the Indian SUV market. Hyundai Motor India has revealed that it sold an impressive 15,276 units of the Hyundai Creta in February alone.
These sales figures are the highest ever achieved in a single month by the Creta SUV since its debut in 2015. This achievement significantly contributed to Hyundai's overall domestic sales of 50,201 units in February, representing a 6.8 per cent increase from the same period last year.
The Hyundai Creta, with its latest facelift launched on January 16, continues to lead the mid-size SUV segment with its updated features and revamped exterior styling. The facelifted model, which now starts at a base price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), has been well-received by the market.
Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, noted the significance of this achievement, stating, "The newly launched Hyundai Creta leads the charge by clocking a sale of 15,276 units in February which incidentally is the highest ever monthly sales recorded by 'Brand Creta' since its inception in India more than eight years back in 2015."
That being said, the 2024 Hyundai Creta comes equipped with three engine options - a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-charged petrol, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel motor.
Gearbox options on the 2024 Creta SUV include the likes of a six-speed manual gearbox, IVT, and DCT. Apart from that, the Creta SUV now comes loaded with even more technology and safety equipment than its predecessor.
In fact, the new Creta boasts Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, collision alert system and a few more.

Hyundai's success with the Creta SUV in the Indian market is indicative of the brand's strong product offerings and understanding of consumer preferences. The company is also looking forward to the launch of the Creta N Line within a few weeks in India.
