2024 Hyundai Creta: Impressive Sales Numbers Outshine Its Primary Rivals In India
Since its debut in 2015, the Hyundai Creta has secured its position as a top choice among SUV enthusiasts. Dominating sales with an impressive monthly average of over 15,000 units in 2024, the Hyundai Creta outshines its competition in one of the most fiercely contested segments in India.
The mid-size SUV landscape features strong contenders such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and others, yet the Hyundai Creta leads in popularity and sales. The Hyundai Creta's journey began with its first-generation model's launch in 2015, quickly becoming a best-seller.

Its second-generation version, which received a facelift earlier this year, continues to attract a significant customer base. To date, the Hyundai Creta has achieved sales of 10,40,964 units in the domestic market. Its performance peaked in 2023, recording the best-ever annual sales of 1,57,311 units.
In fact, between January and April 2024, the Creta SUV has already hit 60,393 units in sales, maintaining its strong market presence. Also, when comparing the Hyundai Creta with its closest rivals, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Kia Seltos, it's clear that the Creta holds a significant lead.

In 2023, while the Creta soared with 1,57,311 units, the Grand Vitara and Seltos managed 1,13,387 and 1,04,891 units, respectively. This sales gap underscores the Hyundai Creta's dominance in the mid-size SUV category.
The pricing strategy for the Hyundai Creta ranges from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for a wide range of buyers. Additionally, the Hyundai Creta N Line, targeting performance enthusiasts, is available between Rs 16.82 lakh and Rs 20.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
