Hyundai Canada’s Kirk Merrett Recognised Among Top HR Leaders For Diversity Efforts
MARKHAM, ONT. (May 21, 2024) — Hyundai Canada extends its congratulations to Kirk Merrett, director of human resources and administration, for being named one of DiversityCan Magazine’s Top Ten Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief People Officers for 2024. This accolade honours leaders in diversity, equity, and inclusion who have developed effective strategies for making significant social impacts and removing barriers to equal opportunities within their organisations and beyond.

Currently, 39 per cent of employees at Hyundai Canada identify as female, and the organisation continues to focus its efforts on developing a pipeline for female leaders. Since 2018, it has increased female representation in national manager roles to 50 per cent.
