Hyundai Auto Canada Recognized As A Top Workplace For Professional Development In 2024
Hyundai Auto Canada (HAC) has been acknowledged on the 2024 Best Workplaces™ for Professional Development by Great Place to Work®. This recognition follows an independent analysis where over 90% of HAC team members provided feedback on their training and professional development opportunities.

HAC offers various tools for flexible learning, both virtual and in-person. LinkedIn Learning courses are available to all employees, with dedicated learning hours scheduled by the HR team. Additionally, HAC provides Tuition Reimbursement for educational programs that support career advancement.
Moreover, HAC pays for access to online courses through CCDI and Pride at Work. The Hyundai Performance Academy also offers online courses such as EV TV series on electric vehicle ownership, High Impact Communications, and Appearance and Vehicle Care Protection.
HAC has implemented formal processes focused on career growth. These include Career Development Plans as part of annual reviews, job shadowing programs, and mentorship initiatives. Mandatory annual and mid-year reviews help maintain clear communication on professional growth.
Interns and Co-Op students meet with National Managers and Directors within their first month to learn more about HAC. This initiative ensures that new team members understand the company's operations from the start.

A Subject Matter Expert (SME) presentation occurs every Friday morning at HAC. Each month features a different theme; August's theme is "Masterclass." Experts from various fields within the company deliver presentations accessible to all employees.
These SME sessions allow team members to gain knowledge from peers and industry experts across various topics relevant to their roles or future positions.
