Hyundai And Alexander Hyundai Contribute $20,000 To Empower Oxnard's Youth

Hyundai Motor America and Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard have collectively donated $20,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme. This contribution aims to bolster the Clubs' core programs, including STEM education. The donation was presented during the grand re-opening event of Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme strive to inspire young people to achieve their full potential as responsible citizens. With 21 locations across the Oxnard Plain, it is one of California's largest organizations, serving over 1,000 youth daily and 3,500 annually. Programs include character development, education, health skills, arts, technology, sports, and recreation.

"Together with Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard, we are proud to support organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme to continue to serve youth and families in the local community."

Hyundai's $20K Boost for Oxnard Youth

Erin Antrim, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, expressed gratitude for the support. "The Alexander Family has been an incredible champion of young people in Oxnard and Port Hueneme," she said. "Their years of investment, alongside the support of Hyundai Motor America, will help inspire and empower the next generation of engineers, designers, mechanics, and business leaders."

The event took place on July 11, 2024.

BGCOP charges a nominal fee of $20 annually for membership. This fee allows access to various programs designed to foster lifelong learning and personal growth among youth.
