Hyundai Alcazar Facelift SUV: Top 5 Things To Know
Hyundai has unveiled the refreshed Alcazar, set to launch on September 9 in India. This three-row SUV boasts significant styling updates and additional features. Deliveries are expected to start from mid to late September. Customers can book the SUV online or at Hyundai dealerships with a token amount of Rs 25,000.
Design Enhancements
The Alcazar facelift introduces several design changes over its predecessor. It now features H-shaped LED DRLs connected by a light bar and a larger grille with horizontal slats. The new full-width tail lamps resemble those on the Venue, showcasing a prominent H motif. Silver highlights on the bumpers add a sporty touch, complemented by newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Features
The Hyundai Alcazar facelift retains the dual 10.25-inch infotainment screens, a similarly sized digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats and a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof. A new dual-tone tan and black theme enhances the interior aesthetics. Notably, it now includes ADAS for improved safety and cooled rear seats for added comfort.
Interior Updates
Inside, the Alcazar facelift adopts the same dashboard layout as the Creta facelift. Furthermore, the fixed centre console between the captain seats has been removed in this update. This change creates more space between the seats, allowing easier access to the third row from the second row. The Alcazar continues to offer 6- and 7-seater configurations.
Engine Options
Mechanically, the Alcazar facelift retains its existing engine options. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 160hp and 253Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel engine delivers 116hp and 250Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Both engines feature front-wheel drive configurations.
Pricing
The pre-facelift Alcazar is priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom). Given the updates, the facelifted version will see a slight price increase. It will be available in four trim levels: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.
DriveSpark Thinks
The Alcazar facelift promises enhanced style and functionality without altering its mechanical foundation. With these updates, Hyundai aims to strengthen its position in India's competitive SUV market while offering customers more value through improved features and design elements.
