Hyundai Alcazar Facelift SUV Bookings Opened: Token Amount Set At Rs 25,000
Hyundai has unveiled the 2024 Alcazar facelift, set to launch on 9th September. The SUV will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. Bookings have commenced with a fee of Rs 25,000. Deliveries are expected to start shortly after the launch. The Alcazar facelift will compete with models like Tata Safari, XUV700, and MG Hector Plus.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Design
The new Alcazar features several updates, including H-shaped LED DRLs similar to those on the Exter but larger to fit the SUV's size. It also sports a larger grille with horizontal slats, replacing the current studded design. The side profile includes new alloy wheels and refreshed body cladding, while conventional door handles and blacked-out pillars remain unchanged.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Interior Enhancements
Inside, the Alcazar facelift adopts the dashboard layout from the 2024 Creta facelift. This includes dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrument cluster. Top variants may feature dual-zone automatic climate control. Existing premium features like a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats, and a dual-camera dash cam setup will continue.
Additional interior amenities include an air purifier with AQI display, Bose premium sound system, wireless charger, and USB charging ports for all rows. The new model will still offer 6-seat and 7-seat configurations and over 70 connected car features across four variants: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Safety Features
The Alcazar facelift enhances safety with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which is crucial as competitors already offer this feature. The ADAS kit will be similar to that of the new Creta, featuring 19 Level 2 ADAS functions.
Other safety elements such as six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), surround view monitor, hill start assist control, and tyre pressure monitoring system will be retained.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Powertrain Options
The powertrain options remain unchanged from the current model. The 1.5-litre petrol turbo GDi engine produces 160 PS and 253 Nm torque with transmission choices of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre diesel CRDi engine delivers 116 PS and 250 Nm torque available with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The Alcazar offers drive modes such as Eco, Comfort, and Sport along with traction control modes for Snow, Sand, and Mud to enhance performance under different conditions.
The tailgate of the Alcazar facelift has been redesigned for a more refined look. Tail lights now feature an energetic mix of vertical and horizontal lighting elements to boost visual appeal.
With these updates in place, Hyundai aims to elevate comfort, luxury, and versatility in the SUV segment through its bold new Alcazar model.
