Honda Accord Surpasses 1 Million Kilometers, Demonstrating Remarkable Durability

Arun Ghosh, 38, originally from Cherthala in Alappuzha district, Kerala, moved to Canada in 2017 for higher studies and a better life. In Canada, he purchased a used Honda Accord V6 with around 90,000 kilometers already on it. Since then, he has driven the car extensively.
Ghosh's Honda Accord has now clocked approximately 1 million kilometers, equivalent to 10 lakh kilometers. Despite this extensive usage, the car remains operational. Consequently, Ghosh has requested Honda to adjust the odometer reading from six digits to seven digits to reflect the true mileage.
However, Ghosh is reportedly facing some issues with this request. A local Honda dealership is working to address his concerns. Typically, Canadian citizens drive about 20,000 kilometers annually. In contrast, Ghosh has driven an extraordinary 130,000 kilometers each year.
This high annual mileage explains how Ghosh managed to cover 10 lakh kilometers in a relatively short period. His meticulous maintenance of the car has kept it in excellent condition. The exterior of the vehicle still looks as good as new, showcasing the extent of care Ghosh has put into maintaining it.
This achievement highlights the durability of Honda cars when properly maintained. It also serves as a source of pride for Honda vehicles, demonstrating their ability to last for years under rigorous usage.
