Mercedes-Benz USA Celebrates Holidays With Love At Miles Elementary School In Atlanta
Brad Guzan, the brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), surprised students at Miles Elementary School in Atlanta with new winter clothing. This event was part of the "Holidays with Love" initiative, organised by MBUSA along with Safe Kids Worldwide and Communities In Schools of Atlanta. The school gym was transformed into a festive setting, complete with safety stations, music, and holiday treats.
The "Holidays with Love" event is a component of MBUSA's global marketing campaign and corporate social responsibility mission called Driving Your Future. This initiative focuses on empowering young people. During the event, Brad Guzan delivered hoodies, hats, and gloves to the students. The aim was to bring joy while teaching essential winter safety tips.
This year's holiday initiative marks its third occurrence and is part of MBUSA's national mission to empower future generations. Dimitris Psillakis, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, stated, "Mercedes-Benz USA is proud to continue creating memorable experiences for children and their families during the holidays while also addressing an urgent need in our community." He emphasised the importance of fostering joy and belonging while ensuring children's comfort and safety during winter.
In addition to the event at Miles Elementary School, MBUSA extended its efforts by donating winter gear to students at Michael R. Hollis Innovation Academy in Atlanta. This gesture aligns with their commitment to community support through their Driving Your Future initiative.
During the celebration at Miles Elementary School, Guzan joined MBUSA volunteers and Freddie Falcon from the Atlanta Falcons in engaging activities. Students enjoyed a winter wonderland atmosphere featuring a snow machine, live DJ, holiday cookies, and interactive safety demonstrations led by Safe Kids Worldwide.
Brad Guzan expressed his gratitude for being part of this initiative: "Giving back during the holidays is an incredible opportunity to connect with the community and make a difference in kids' lives." He appreciated partnering with Mercedes-Benz USA to spread holiday cheer and help students prepare for winter.
