Hispano Suiza Unveils Carmen Sagrera Hypercar At Goodwood Festival
Hispano Suiza is making a notable return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 11-14. The event will feature the Carmen Boulogne and Carmen Sagrera hypercars at their dedicated stand. The new Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera will debut dynamically on the renowned Goodwood hillclimb, driven by former Formula 1 driver and brand ambassador Luis Pérez-Sala.
The festival, one of the most prestigious in the automotive world, attracts nearly 200,000 visitors over four days. This year, Hispano Suiza's presence is stronger than ever as they celebrate their 120th anniversary. The company's latest model, the Carmen Sagrera, will be unveiled in the UK for the first time and presented to media and authorities, including The Duke of Richmond.

The Goodwood Hillclimb is one of the festival's most anticipated events. The Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera, with its impressive 1,114 hp electric power, will make its debut on this iconic stage. Luis Pérez-Sala will drive both cars during the event. Motorsport fans can also see the Carmen Boulogne on Thursday while the Sagrera is displayed at the stand.
British model and racing driver Jodie Kidd will host a press conference on Thursday, July 11, at 11:00 am. Additionally, Pérez-Sala will host a 'Meet & Greet' on Friday and Saturday, offering fans an immersive experience into Hispano Suiza's universe.

The new Carmen Sagrera was revealed on June 13, 2024, coinciding with Hispano Suiza's 120th anniversary celebration. This model features second-generation batteries with a capacity increase to 103 kWh. The battery pack includes 360 lithium-ion cells arranged in 15 modules and weighs just 612 kg. This upgrade extends the driving range to approximately 480 km according to WLTP cycle.
The car's design evolution includes a pointed grille reminiscent of early 20th-century Hispano Suiza sports cars. Redesigned front bonnet vents enhance both aesthetics and functionality. Significant changes to the rear include a large spoiler resembling stork wings, paying tribute to the brand's logo.

Performance Enhancements
The Sagrera features four motors delivering a combined power output of 1,114 hp and torque of 1,160 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. The motors are axial-flux permanent magnet types connected in series: two on each rear wheel. A virtual self-locking differential ensures optimal track performance.
The suspension system offers racing-level performance with adjustable shock absorbers and coil springs for compression and extension settings. Lightweight suspension wishbones made from military-grade material enhance durability while aerospace-grade bolts ensure secure fastening.
Advanced Braking System
The braking system includes single-block brake calipers for superior rigidity and reduced weight by 500 grams. Both axles feature 400mm carboceramic discs capable of withstanding high temperatures up to 1,000 degrees Celsius without fatigue. Enhanced cooling improves performance under intense conditions.
Exclusive Capsule Collection
At their stand, Hispano Suiza will offer an exclusive pre-sale of their new Capsule Collection inspired by Gentleman Driver culture. This sporty line includes polo shirts, t-shirts, raincoats, and caps reflecting the company's competitive roots. After the event, these items will be available online at https://www.hispanosuiza.boutique/es/.
