Hennessey Reveals Ultra-Limited Venom F5 Stealth Series Celebrating Craftmanship And Performance
Hennessey Special Vehicles, a Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has introduced the 'Stealth Series,' an ultra-limited trio of its 1,817 bhp Venom F5 hypercar. This series celebrates intricate craftsmanship and elaborate individualization options. Only three models will be built to this exclusive specification, focusing on track-oriented Revolution models.
Each Stealth Series car requires around 2,350 manhours to create the flawless carbon fiber body and chassis. An additional 650 to 750 manhours are needed for the complex paint treatment. Craftsmen meticulously hand lay the cosmetic carbon fiber, hand-paint every exterior panel, and upholster every piece of the dash, seats, and doors.
The Stealth Series features exposed carbon fiber running from the nose-mounted 'H-badge' down the entire spine of the hypercar. This exposed carbon broadens to meet the windscreen before flowing over the roof and narrowing past the engine cover for the 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged 'Fury' motor. It extends right to the rear deck's trailing edge above the mid-mounted quad tailpipes.
John Hennessey, company founder and CEO, stated: "Everyone knows that the Venom F5 is the most extreme, powerful, and visceral pure-combustion hypercar in the world, but the real selling point for our customers is the craftmanship, quality, beauty, and attention to detail. Combining all these elements into the Stealth Series creates a unique art piece that celebrates the finest craftmanship alongside raw, visceral, unapologetic American horsepower."
The design team works closely with Stealth Series owners to curate a specification that achieves immortality through thoughtful personalization. Unique features include tinted carbon fiber inside and out, body color-matched brake calipers, and personal racing numbers ghosted into the carbon fiber.
Nathan Malinick, Hennessey Director of Design said: "In creating the unique specification for the limited-edition Venom F5 Stealth Series, we were inspired by the hypercar’s aerodynamic form and the beauty, authenticity, and craftmanship of its exposed carbon fiber. The Stealth Series is a ‘best of both worlds’ presentation of exquisite, exposed carbon fiber and world-class, impactful paintwork that accentuates the F5’s form."
Public Debut at Monterey Car Week
The Venom F5 Stealth Series made its public debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week in California on August 16. The display featured both a Revolution Roadster and Revolution Coupe version of these cars. Attendees could appreciate their quality and attention to detail under Californian sun.
All three models sold out even before their public debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week. These uniquely American models are part of a total production run of just 99 Venom F5 hypercars.
Revolutionary Performance
The third model in this series is a Venom F5 Revolution in coupe form. This track-focused version features a full-width rear-mounted carbon fiber wing, roof-mounted air scoop, larger front splitter and rear diffuser. It also includes reworked suspension, engine cooling enhancements, digital telemetry alongside dive planes ahead of each front wheel to improve grip at turn-in.
In March this year, a Revolution coupe set a new production car lap record of 2:10.90 at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). The company then focused on pushing towards its +300 mph V-max goal after achieving 271.6 mph during development.
Exclusivity and Availability
Designing each Venom F5 takes place just 100 miles from COTA at Hennessey's headquarters in Sealy Texas. To date Hennessey has built and delivered 24 Venom F5 Coupe Roadster Revolution models across U.S., worldwide with further orders booking slots through 2024-2025.
The complete build price for each Stealth Series car exceeds $3 million though exact customer specifications remain private.
