Hennessey Unveils H1000 Escalade-V: A Luxury SUV With Supercar Acceleration
Hennessey, a Texas-based company known for high-performance vehicles, has unveiled a powerful version of the Cadillac Escalade-V. This luxury SUV, weighing 6,200 pounds, boasts an impressive 1,005 bhp and 882 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, showcasing its ability to outperform even supercars like the Lamborghini Huracan Evo.
The H1000 Escalade-V is limited to just 100 units for both the 2023 and 2024 model years. Production is currently underway at Hennessey's Sealy, Texas facility. All slots for the 2024 models have already been sold out, with orders now being accepted for the 2025 production run.
This supercharged SUV features numerous enhancements including a high-flow supercharger system, custom camshaft, ported cylinder heads, and a high-performance throttle body. These upgrades contribute to its remarkable power increase of nearly 50 percent more horsepower and 35 percent more torque compared to the standard model.
The vehicle's specifications highlight its performance capabilities: it delivers peak power at 6,400 rpm and maximum torque at 4,300 rpm. Additional upgrades include an auxiliary fuel system upgrade, high-flow air induction system, and long-tube stainless steel headers.
Each H1000 Escalade-V comes with a serial-numbered engine bay plaque and distinctive exterior badging. The SUV also includes a comprehensive warranty covering three years or 36,000 miles. Customers can place orders through authorized Cadillac retailers or directly via Hennessey's website.
John Hennessey, founder and CEO of the company, expressed his enthusiasm for this unique vehicle: "A full size luxury SUV has no business beating supercars, but the way the H1000 Escalade-V holds its own against legendary performance cars like the Huracan Evo is insane! If there’s a faster, more fun way to move seven people in this much comfort, I’m yet to find it!"
