Goodwood To Celebrate Historic Touring Cars With Win Percy Trophy In 2025

Goodwood will host a remarkable collection of Group 1 touring cars under 3-litre that raced between 1970 and 1982 in the new Win Percy Trophy. The 82nd Members’ Meeting, presented by Audrain Motorsport, is scheduled for Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025. Tickets become available to the Goodwood Road Racing Club from Monday 19 August onwards.

As we anticipate the 2025 motorsport season, Goodwood is excited to reveal details of the new Win Percy Trophy at the upcoming Members’ Meeting. This event will feature a collection of Group 1 touring cars under 3-litre that competed between 1970 and 1982. The Win Percy Trophy offers an opportunity for smaller cars, previously seen in the Gordon Spice Trophy, to compete head-to-head.

The Win Percy Trophy will showcase compact racers like Mini 1275GTs, VW Golfs, and Ford Fiestas. This race format is designed to highlight their potential at the historic Motor Circuit. The race will last for 45 minutes and include some of the world’s top drivers, from Grand Prix winners to Touring Car Champions. Each car will have two drivers competing for the cup.

Goodwood is thrilled to honour Win Percy's legacy with this new race dedicated to the iconic cars he once drove. This celebration acknowledges his significant impact on British Touring Car history. As a three-time British Touring Car Champion, Win was also the most successful non-Antipodean driver in Australia's premier national motorsport event, the Bathurst 1000km.

The Win Percy Trophy will be part of a full race schedule for the Members’ Meeting on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025. Tickets go on sale at goodwood.com on these dates: Monday 19 August for Goodwood Road Racing Club Members and Wednesday 28 August for Goodwood Road Racing Club Fellows.

Members and Fellows can save 15% on admission tickets if booked before December 31, 2024. Terms and conditions apply. For more information about joining the Fellowship, visit Goodwood's website.
