Godawari Electric Motors Debuts Eblu Cety Rickshaw | A World EV Day Launch
Godawari Electric Motors has introduced the eblu Cety, an innovative e-rickshaw, on World EV Day. Priced at INR 1,99,999/- ex-showroom, this vehicle aims to meet the increasing need for eco-friendly urban transport. It comfortably seats a driver and four passengers, making it perfect for city travel.
The eblu Cety features a robust Li-Ion battery with a voltage of 51.2V and a capacity of 100Ah. This setup delivers peak power of 1.6kW and peak torque of 20Nm, ensuring smooth performance. The vehicle includes forward and reverse modes for added versatility.
Design and Performance
The eblu Cety measures 2170mm in wheelbase, 993mm in width, 2795mm in length, and 1782mm in height. With a ground clearance of 240mm, it navigates urban terrains effortlessly. Its auto-shaped design enhances visibility and includes an automatic wiper for convenience.
Performance-wise, the eblu Cety reaches speeds up to 25kmph and offers a driving range of 95 km per charge. Its gradeability and regenerative braking system contribute to its energy efficiency in city commuting.
Comfort and Safety Features
Inside, the eblu Cety boasts an ergonomically designed seat with optional navigation features. Spacious legroom ensures comfort for both driver and passengers. The handle locking feature adds security.
The vehicle's exterior combines durability with modern aesthetics through its front DCPD and rear sheet metal body. A home charger of 48V, 20Amp fully charges the battery in just 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Suspension and Warranty
The suspension system includes a dual front fork with telescopic shock absorbers and coil springs at the front. At the rear, it features a leaf spring with six leaves for a smooth ride on uneven roads.
Safety is ensured by a mechanical drum brake system. The vehicle is equipped with 3.75x12 inch tyres that provide stability and grip.
Additionally, Godawari offers a warranty of 12 months or 20,000 km for the vehicle itself. The battery and charger come with a three-year or 80,000 km warranty.
Mr. Khan further stated that achieving carbon-neutral mobility requires more than just personal vehicles; public transport must also be greenified. He believes that the eblu Cety can transform urban mobility in India.
