GM Energy Launches PowerBank For Enhanced Energy Storage Solutions For EV Owners Across The U.S.
GM Energy has introduced the GM Energy PowerBank, a stationary storage solution for electric vehicle (EV) owners. This product allows users to store and transfer energy from the grid and integrate it with solar power systems. The company has also made its energy management products available nationwide across all 50 states.
The GM Energy PowerBank is offered in two battery capacities: 10.6 kWh and 17.7 kWh. These units can supply power during outages or help reduce electricity costs during peak times. Users can store solar energy, charge EVs, or power their homes without an EV present. By combining two 17.7 kWh PowerBanks, consumers can achieve 35.4 kWh of storage, sufficient to power an average American home for up to 20 hours.

The GM Energy PowerBank is part of the GM Energy Home System bundle, which includes a PowerShift charger and a Vehicle-to-Home Enablement kit.
