The showcase will feature six HBCU bands and a performance by GRAMMY-nominated artist GloRilla.
GloRilla, who achieved a significant milestone with her debut album "GLORIOUS," will close the event. She expressed excitement about energising fans with her performance. "I can't wait to turn up the energy at the 2025 Honda Battle of the Bands Invitational Showcase with these dope HBCU marching bands," she said. "This event is gonna be straight fire, showcasing the beauty and brilliance of Black culture."
The lineup includes Alabama A&M University's Marching Maroon & White, Alabama State University's Mighty Marching Hornets, Hampton University's The Marching Force, North Carolina A&T State University's Blue and Gold Marching Machine, Southern University's Human Jukebox, and University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South. These bands are set to deliver captivating performances.
